2010 Data Now Available:
The 2010 proposed property values are now available. However, some accounts are still being appraised for 2010 and will still show a value of $0 on the Web site. This does not mean that the 2010 value is zero, it means that the valuation process for 2010 is not yet complete. (05/01/2010) |

Tax Payment Questions:
Tarrant Appraisal District does not bill or collect taxes. All questions regarding taxes paid, taxes due, or tax payment concerns should be addressed to the Tarrant County Tax Office. Their Web address is www.tarrantcounty.com/eTax/site/default.asp. (05/13/2010) |

The
Texas Property Tax Code requires property to be appraised
at 100% market value. In keeping with that requirement,
the capitalization rate that will be used to derive an estimate
of market value for exempt low and moderate-income housing
for tax year 2010 will be between 7.5% and 10%. (10/03/2008)
