| Who is responsible for addressing? |
|
New properties within city boundaries are addressed by those cities.
Unincorporated areas of Tarrant County are addressed by Tarrant
Appraisal District (TAD). If you are a developer and need a county
plat addressed, contact the TAD Geo-Reference Desk at 817-595-6123.

are addresses assigned? |
|
Each city assigns an addressing agent. For the City of Fort Worth,
the Fire Dept is the responsible agent, for Arlington; Development,
Keller; Planning, etc. As plats are filed with the county, the cities
prepare addresses and forward them to TAD for the creation of new
Real Estate Accounts. |
