The default table used by TaxEstimator is tarrant.tab
and is assumed to be in the default installation directory "c:\program files\taxestimator35\".
This information is stored in an initialization file (taxestimator.ini)
in the default installation directory and may easily be modified
using Notepad. A simple way to do this is as follows:
Click on the "Start"
button and select "Find", then "Files or Folders".
Type taxestimator.ini into the "Named:" box and
click on the "Find Now" button.
The find request should
find and list the taxestimator.ini file
Double-click on the
taxestimator.ini file to invoke Notepad
You may change the
name of the file to be loaded as the default when the program starts,
and you may also change the default path. If you change the default
path, be sure to enter a "\" as the last character.
When you have modified
the file name and/or path, click on "File", then "Save",
then "File" and "Exit".
