Mineral Interests

2023 Mineral Value Notices and Appraisal Information in Texas.

The 2023 value notices for mineral interests have been sent out, and not all accounts will receive a notice, indicating little to no increase in value compared to the previous year. The Texas Property Tax Code provides details on this matter. All values can be accessed on our Property Search page.

If you have questions about your mineral value, you can contact Pritchard & Abbott, the firm responsible for mineral valuations for TAD. The valuation methodology can be found in Sections 23.17 and 23.175 of the Texas Property Tax Code. For ownership updates, reach out to the drilling operator of your lease.

Keep in mind that both Pritchard & Abbott and TAD are experiencing a high volume of calls and emails and will respond as soon as possible.
