EFFECTIVE 3-17-2020 – As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation progresses, the Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) is committed to serving the public. Some of the latest developments have heightened concerns for everyone’s health and well being. We have made the decision to close the doors to public access temporarily in an effort to aid in the “flattening of the curve” in response to this pandemic. TAD will not be able to provide face to face customer service between property owners and staff members but will instead encourage all individuals to conduct business remotely using TAD’s online systems (www.tad.org). It is important to note, that effectively, all TAD business practices with the general public and property owners can be done remotely without having to visit our office. During this health alert time, TAD would encourage the general public and all property owners to work remotely with TAD staff. This closing of our customer service counter will take effect Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and our doors will remain closed through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. We will take calls at our Support Service number, 817-284-4063 where your call will be directed to the proper staff. Through technology, we are confident that we can still offer a high level of service, while protecting you and our employees by helping to increase social distancing and slow the spread of the virus. We want to thank you for your patience during this time and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please monitor TAD’s website for any breaking news concerning the TAD’s day to day operations. Working together, we are confident we will be able to return to our normal routine and practice.
